New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS) and its parent company, New York Blood Center (NYBC) have a critical blood shortage. School vacations, the holidays, busy summer schedules, and family vacations all contribute to making this time of year especially challenging to maintain an adequate blood supply. “We know that when we sound the alarm and ask for help, generous folks step up to host blood drives and blood donors’ find the time to donate!” said Andrea Cefarelli, Senior Executive Director of Recruitment & Marketing for New York Blood Center.
Please donate blood at our semi-annual Blood Drive on Sunday, August 18 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm in Community Hall. If you are 17 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good health, please come to donate the gift of life.
